I was replaying LoZ:LttP not too long ago and I thought it would be cool to make a mock-up SNES box for =Ventastic's characters. The kid's got serious talent, and judging from his animations that I've seen, I can't wait to see the finished product. (Although it's probably not gonna be done for another 6 months...)
All the elements here were made from scratch, the layout was drawn in pencil, then scanned, cleaned up, and coloured.
This is based off of 's Legend of Scotty. All the characters, the story, etc. belong to him. Just so we're clear.
OMG. THIS IS SUPER AWESOME! I just saw some of =Ventastic's Scotty stuff... and I totally think it's an SNES games. Plus, SNES rocks so much more.. the "AWESOME GRAPHICS" + the sound clips are so much better compared to the NES IMHO!!!!
Totally agree! I grew up on the SNES, mostly playing Super Mario World, Mario Paint, and NHLPA '93. So when I chose to draw this, I couldn't imagine it on any other system.

...And I know what you mean. That's why I love dA. There's so many great pieces and artists that celebrate OCs rather than just redraw them.
